Rumoro is a social listening API built for AI agents. It watches 16 public platforms for a brand, its competitors, and the topics around them, then filters out the noise so only the conversations worth acting on reach a team, an agent, or a piece of code.
What it covers
Rumoro follows Reddit, X (Twitter), Hacker News, GitHub, Bluesky, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Stack Overflow, DEV, YouTube, news sources, the App Store, Google Play, Trustpilot, and Google reviews. Each source is polled on its own schedule, from Hacker News every five minutes to YouTube twice a day, and new keywords pull in posts from the previous 30 days where the platform allows it. There are no API keys or scrapers to maintain on the user's side.
How scoring works
A company describes itself once. Every incoming post is then scored from 0 to 100 against that description and tagged with a sentiment and an intent such as buying intent, question, complaint, bug report, churn risk, or comparison. This is what keeps a sailing post about an anchor from being mistaken for a customer talking about a feature-flag product. Users set the score threshold that decides what reaches Slack, Telegram, email, a webhook, or a daily digest.
Built for agents and developers
Rumoro exposes an MCP server that lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other agents search, sort, and summarise what has already been found and scored. The same capabilities are available through a REST API, TypeScript and Python SDKs, and a CLI, so anything the dashboard can do can also be automated. Webhooks arrive signed and timestamped and are retried when an endpoint is down.
Who it is for
- Sales teams can catch buying-intent posts while a thread is still open and route them to a sales channel.
- Brand and marketing teams can track every mention of their name and see how share of voice compares with competitors.
- Community and DevRel teams can collect open questions, tutorials, and GitHub issues about their SDK in one feed.
- Developers can build social listening directly into their own products without maintaining 16 separate integrations.
Pricing approach
Rumoro uses pay-as-you-listen pricing rather than a subscription. A keyword costs $5 per month, charged in daily slices, and each matched mention or new review costs $0.008. Every new account starts with $5.80 of credit, enough for one keyword over a full month with 100 mentions. Alerts, digests, webhooks, API calls, MCP calls, and teammate seats are not charged separately, and a monthly cap can be set on any keyword's mentions.
Rumoro fits teams that want social listening to feed directly into agents and automated workflows, rather than living only inside a dashboard.
