SchoolWhool is a structured learning platform for artificial intelligence, taking learners from first principles through to production-ready skills. The curriculum spans seven courses in a deliberate order: Python, Data Tools, Maths, Statistics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Generative AI. Each course builds on the one before it, so learners can either follow the guided machine learning path or start wherever their existing knowledge allows.
How lessons are taught
Every lesson follows a consistent arc designed for understanding rather than passive watching. Learners meet a concrete problem and the intuition behind the solution before any formula appears, then work through the maths on small numbers, build the core model in plain Python and NumPy, and check their results against established libraries such as scikit-learn. Models are trained on real datasets and must beat a simple baseline before they count. Lessons also cover where methods fail, the errors learners will actually encounter, and how each idea is applied in professional settings.
Practice and assessment
The platform includes graded quizzes marked as learners answer, practice problems at three levels with values to check against, self-checking notebooks, and module projects set as open problems without templates. Interview preparation is built in, with questions and model answers for each module so learners can explain why a method works, not just how to call it. Completing a course's lessons, quizzes and projects earns a verifiable certificate that can be added to LinkedIn or a CV.
Live instruction and support
Gaurav Jain, an AI engineer and startup CTO with a Master's in Artificial Intelligence and published deep-learning research, leads the instruction. Pro members can join weekly live sessions covering hard topics, open questions and reviews of learner code and projects. One-to-one sessions are available separately for career direction, project reviews and mock interviews with feedback.
Who it is for
SchoolWhool suits beginners who want a complete path from programming fundamentals to generative AI, as well as intermediate learners filling gaps in maths, statistics or deep learning. No prior maths or programming background is required, and every lesson links to the earlier material it depends on. Lessons and quizzes run in the browser, and notebooks open in Google Colab, so no local installation is needed. Free access covers every published lesson and video, the AI glossary and cheat sheets, while Pro adds the full practice system, projects, certificates and live sessions.
