Wisegrid turns a familiar spreadsheet into a live work app for planning, tracking, and reporting. Teams keep working in rows and columns, while dashboards, rollups, and related views update from the same source of truth.
What it offers
Wisegrid combines spreadsheet editing with operational layers that usually live in separate tools. It supports live dashboards, forms, reports, automations, permissions, collaboration, and reusable blueprints, so a team can manage projects without leaving the grid. The product also includes Excel-compatible formulas, cross-sheet references, row-level conflict handling, and import tools for bringing existing workbooks into the system.
Where it fits
It is designed for teams that already run work in spreadsheets but need more structure around them. Common uses include project tracking, launch planning, budget monitoring, approval flows, and operational reporting. The live dashboard approach is especially useful when status questions need to stay current without rebuilding summaries every week.
AI in the workflow
Wisegrid also adds AI formulas directly inside cells. That makes it possible to classify text, extract structured details, and summarize notes in the same place where the rest of the work already lives. The AI usage is metered with a monthly credit allowance, which keeps costs predictable and avoids open-ended usage surprises.
Why it stands out
The main difference is that Wisegrid keeps the spreadsheet model intact instead of asking teams to relearn a separate project system. It pairs that familiar interface with app-like capabilities such as dashboards, forms, automations, and governed access controls. That makes it a practical fit for operations-minded teams that want spreadsheets to behave more like a working system, especially when they need reporting, collaboration, and light AI assistance in one place.
