amaze.directory is a directory of AI tools where every listing was opened and used by a person before it went in. That is the whole difference. Most AI directories are scraped lists where nobody has touched the product, so you end up opening fifteen tabs to find out which three tools are real.
Every card prints the things you actually decide on. What the tool does, in the maker's own words. What it costs, on the card rather than three clicks into a pricing page. Which shelf it belongs on. Listings are ordered by recency and category, never by payment, and there are no paid placements or pay-to-rank slots of any kind.
Listings are kept honest after they go live, not just before. Listed tools are re-checked daily, dead links are pulled, and a listing whose verification badge disappears gets an email and seven days before it comes down.
For makers, submitting is free and stays free. You send the link and a sentence about what the tool does. It goes through screening, and if it clears you get an embed badge. Put the badge in your page's HTML, hit verify, and the listing goes live with a real dofollow link.
Turned down: anything you cannot sign up for without a sales call, prompt wrappers with no product behind them, tools already listed under another name, and anything outside AI tooling.
