SeamlessCanvas is a browser-based workspace for turning ordinary images into seamless, tileable textures. Upload a photo, scan, render, or piece of artwork, and the tool repairs the edges so the result can repeat cleanly across a surface. There is no desktop installation, no layer stack, and no need to open a full material authoring suite just to fix a visible seam.
How the repair flow works
The default setup is intentionally simple. Safe Auto repair and Both directions are selected automatically, so the left and right edges and the top and bottom edges are matched without extra configuration. From there, you can switch to Full blend, limit the repair to Horizontal only or Vertical only, and inspect the outcome in a repeat preview. Single tile, 2×2, 3×3, and 5×5 views are available, with an optional seam guide that marks the tile joins rather than the full repair area.
Standard repair and optional AI repair
Standard repair uses an algorithm and does not consume AI credits. Guests can complete five standard repairs, while signed-in users can run unlimited standard repairs. AI repair is an optional second pass applied after the standard result. It can improve a remaining seam, but it may also change local texture, motif shapes, spacing, or color. Guests receive one free AI repair, signed-in users receive three, and each additional AI repair costs five credits.
From existing images to new textures
SeamlessCanvas supports two starting points. The image-to-seamless path begins with an uploaded material photo, pattern sample, or AI render and converts it into a tileable PNG. The prompt-based path generates a new texture or pattern from a short text description, with the prompt wrapper adding seamless, top-down, and evenly distributed constraints. Generated results can be checked in single or tiled preview before download.
Exports and practical use
PNG downloads are unlocked for two credits, and subscriptions include unlimited exports in every available size. Larger canvas sizes are available through plans, and credits can unlock one-off sizes beyond a plan. Enlarging the canvas does not create new texture detail. The output is framed for 3D materials, game props, wallpaper, textile work, print-on-demand products, and mockup backgrounds.
Who it is for
SeamlessCanvas fits designers, 3D artists, game developers, and print-on-demand creators who need a quick way to test whether an image can repeat. It is not a full material toolchain, and the textures are not guaranteed to be perfectly seamless. Its value is in fast visual exploration: repair the edges, inspect the repeat, and download a tileable PNG before moving the best result into a larger art or 3D workflow.
